Apparently Dj Khaled is head over hills for Nicki since he went on MTV to pop the big question to Nicki: Okay here the snap according to the 37 year old DJ:
“Nicki Minaj, I’m at MTV, I’m going to be honest with you; I love you. I like you, I want you, I want you to be mine,” he said in the video. “Only reason I’m not telling you this face to face is because I understand that you’re busy.”
He continued, “I feel like you need a man like me in your life … we got the same symptoms, we’re both suffering from success. [If] you gotta take your time and think about it, I understand, but I know I have to be here today to let you know how serious I am and how serious this is to me.”
The hip hop star finished the video with a very public, if not romantic, proposal: “Nicki Minaj, will you marry me?” he asked, flashing a reported $500,000 10-carat ring for the singer/rapper.
Since Nicki is already engaged to her longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels {shown in pic below of her rocking her engagment ring}, and Khaled know this, Nicki responded with a big snappin no and a restraining order on the DJ. According to RollingOut.com:
The Young Money first lady has allegedly responded to Khaled’s affections by filing a restraining order in her home state of New York. According to FOX News, this is just the latest in a series of incidents where Khaled decided to show his love for Nicki. The DJ reportedly sent her flowers and various packages before. And he has unexpectedly shown up at her shows all across the country, according to reports.
A day after his proposal stunt, Khaled posted a screenshot of Nicki from his music video for “Take It To the Head” along with the caption “Beautiful.”
However it has also been reported that this is not the first time Khaled has professed his infatuation with Nicki, the DJ has allegedly sent Nicki flowers in the past, as well as random packages, and constantly shows up to her concerts all across the country...
