Diva Carey injuried arm did not stop her for being a fashionable show stopper. Check out the Mrs. Carey-Cannon as she performed at the MLB All-Star charity concert Saturday night, and the mom of the twins werk that injured arm well as she dazzle her sling into her wardrobe Oh So Divaish!. "Mrs. Carey-Cannon belted out four of her hits on Central Park's Great Lawn, with the help of the New York Philharmonic, and sported a rhinestone-covered sling, a furry one, and then another covered in black feathers. Had you not known about her injury, you might have just figured it was part of the get-up.
The singer told the crowd she "was in a tiny bit of pain, but I'm OK." Her rep later said she was "actually in a lot of pain," with "bruised ribs, dislocated shoulder, temporary nerve damage in her arm." She injured herself while filming her latest music video last week.
Regardless, she rallied during the performance and sang "My All" (in the sparkly sling) "Looking In" (in the fur sling) before an intermission. She came back and belted "#Beautiful" with Randy Jackson on guitar and "Hero" (both in the black feathery sling). "Is this working? Do we like it?" she asked the crowd of the black Gucci accessory.
Then she told the fans "wait for me. I love you madly. I love you madly" before making a grand."
