Soulful songbird Erykah Badu has been named the new face of fashion house Givenchy 2014 campaign in reaction to a fashion industry tendency to use predominantly white models on the runway. The company’s creative director, Ricardo Tisci, has welcome Badu for her unique edgey style and said that, though unexpected, Badu’s casting in the campaign makes perfect sense since she was one of the inspirations behind the collection it features. Tisci also called her an 'icon' and told Style.com that Badu, 42, is ‘one of the most stylish women I’ve met in my life.' Shoot we’re even loving the fact that she was picked. So Kudos to her!
However! The Diva of Givenchy has lost us with this new nose ring. What in the snap {WTS} is she thinking? Ms. Badu is known for a very creative unique look and this nose ring has top the chart for the most kray, kray... Girlll!.. All we can say is eww ouch! See the pics below...
Ms Badu posted the picture on Twitter Tuesday of the new nose piercing, and ish, does it look painful. The large bronze hook running through the singer’s nose has an orange jewel on the end. What in the hell is wrong with her!
