Okay check out the highlights of what T talk about in the issue per Kontrol mag:
" Toya elaborates more on what style of clothing can be found while shopping in either of her domains. You may have spotted I am a Garbie tees in both of her boutiques, this is Toya’s growing clothing brand where she seeks to implement her very own creative mesh and define what a “Garbie” means to her. “What a Garbie means to me–is a fashionable doll, a classy lady that represents fashion, and beauty. Just a boss!”, says Toya.
Moving forward, she aims to expand her business presence online. As far as other cities outside of Atlanta and Louisiana, she is not sure it would be a wise business move. “It’s not really an urban boutique. We have trendy things like the latest fashion. We sell accessories, we sell shoes, I would say the latest fashion trends. I thought about expanding the location to different cities before, but I mean everybody [has] a boutique now. I still have love for being a boutique owner, and I’m always going to have my New Orleans location and Atlanta location. But, I don’t think I want to take it to different cities anymore. I’d rather just keep it online because we have a nice online presence. My New Orleans boutique is kind of like a tourist stop, so I’ll just keep it there. Boutiques are on every corner now. So, I don’t think that would be a smart business move.”
Toya goes on to discuss her new time on WE TV’s Marriage Boot Camp. Apparently she endured and learned a lot. After several years of interest in journaling, Toya is pursuing a newfound passion as a writer that has inspired, and propelled her to establish her very own publishing company; Toya Wright Publishing. Now, let’s talk about the new novel How To Lose A Husband. Toya expresses her truth about the fiction novel based off of real life and personal experiences. The book’s title “How To Lose A Husband” stems from her now infamous separation from her husband, music producer, Mickey “Memphitz” Wright. As you know, Toya has been engulfed in quite a bit of controversy due to a few very public spats on social media with Memphitz, the “hall passes” to cheat he received a few times each year, and now their appearance on We TV’s Marriage Boot Camp. Toya revealed to us the status of her relationship and why she decided to revisit reality television with her marital issues in tow. “No Memphitz and I are not together…we’re still friends and cool, but we are both moving on with our lives…people don’t realize it, but we filmed the show [Marriage Boot Camp] before we went on Untying The Knot so we weren’t dealing with our issues after separating everything…I definitely learned a lot from being there and it made me realize I can get through anything…we—well I—went into it open-minded and was willing to give it a try, thinking maybe it could help us out.”
