sequel to the 1997 classic film “Soul Food.” With our favorite sisters Bird,
Teri, and Max will be hitting back on the big screen after almost 20 years with
the original cast members are said to be returning... Alright

"Fox 2000 is ready for
another serving of Soul Food.
The studio is planning
a sequel called More Soul Food, based on the 1997 ensemble film.
George Tillman Jr.,
who wrote and directed the original, is writing the new script with Nathan
Skulnik. Tillman's State Street Pictures will produce along with Tracey and
Babyface Edmonds.
The original film,
starring an ensemble cast that included Vanessa Williams, Vivica A. Fox, Nia
Long, Michael Beach and Mekhi Phifer, followed a close-knit African-American
family who had a tradition of eating a big dinner together every Sunday. But
their bond begins to fall apart after the death of their matriarch.
So are you ready for some more soul food!!
