Endometriosis!
Today is March 1st which is the
start of National Endometriosis Awareness Month. And as I am growing into the
Diva I have become I decide to share that not only am I living with Sweet
D' {Diabetes}, but I am also fighting in my Divaish world with
Endometriosis.. Ummm huh *Diva Snaps*...
Therefore I will oh so love if you join me for the month of March in support to fight for endometriosis awareness also... See more of my life with Endometriosis inside.
Okay here's a lil something, something, something about Diva Snap and Endometriosis. I was diagnosed back in October 2013... Which I kind of knew I had the illness ways prior to being medically diagnose. Yeah um huh. I'm a research-aholic {ha}. Just from observing my body and the painful symptoms I was having I knew it was Endo. However I'm also certain that my Endo came from me having Diabetes at such a young age... Yep... but that’s another topic.
Any who enough about that, a
good friend of mines has been helping me to find some info about Endo. When she
recently came across The View guest
co-host Padma Lakshmi who opened up on her personal story about being diagnosed
with Endometriosis, and how She is displaying awareness of "What Women Need to Know About
Endometriosis"... And now I feel so relieve that there others whom I
can share my pain with..

Report abcgo:
The View guest co-host Padma Lakshmi told her personal story about being diagnosed with Endometriosis on the Friday February 20th, 2015 episode of The View. This prognosis is one that leads a lot of women to get a hysterectomy, but that course of treatment is not always necessary. However it is a path often chosen due to a lack of information which is why Padma has created the Endometriosis Foundation of America to help inform women about this disorder. There is no cure but there are ways that the symptoms can be managed. It is also important that women get checked for this as they maybe asymptomatic for various reasons. Check out more information on Endometriosis below such as symptoms, causes and treatments. Click Here to watch Video
So join me this month by wearing yellow while rocking your snappin red lips to fight like a Diva for Endo awareness...!
